Back on the 9th of July 2021 we met a bloke at the village allotments to view some available plots.

Prior to that, there were none available so were put on the waiting list but all of a sudden there were 3 available where 2 were adjacent which were previously claimed by “Mr Potato” (you can take a guess what he primarily grew). The third plot had established bordered raised beds and a shed; all were overgrown.

Preferring to start with a “blank slate” - or close to - we have opted for the more southerly of the double plot. And thus our allotmenting adventures began in earnest. Though we were discouraged to take on a double eventually we did take on a second plot - eventually claiming the opposite side after this was abandoned in 2023. Thus the vlog was born in attempt to better record our progress…
