What worked

  • oversized Ikea bags for general transporting in bulk
  • collapsible basin for washing up
  • ear plugs (close to kitchen, and they work/party hard)
  • dedicated ethernet/power kit box
  • head torches
  • car roof storage
  • moar bags, canvas/compact shopping for smol things like shower kit transport

Over-stocked

  • didn't really need the green torch if we had the big work ones
  • BUT if we are early onsite, power may not be connected yet (mitigate with head torches)
  • possibly overdid the batteries
  • foodz (didn't need so much if we use the volunteer kitchen and have no time)
  • 1 collapsible table too many (may change if we run a village event/workshop)

Rethink

  • bed (was better on mattress + topper but they are HUGE)
  • compact the toolboxes rather than full blown kit?
  • BBQ
  • time for WORKSHOPS/TALKS
  • time set aside for housekeeping (washing up, organising tent, recuperating)
  • clothes washing - may reduce amount to pack. Naturally weather dependent!
  • cider staging can just retire in the shed. Worktops are TOO BULKY if we aren't running a workshop!
